where is the throttle body 850

I think when you are talking about "the hose from the air filter box heads towards the back of the engine and down (towards the firewall" you are referring to the preheat hose, which should be metallic. The hose you want to follow to the black plastic one with ribs that connects from the airbox to the throttle body.
