Where do I find a replacement transmission?

My 93 850 is looking like it needs its tranny replaced. All the stuff I've been doing, including PNP switch replacement, has not returned reverse to the choice of gears; it seems to be stuck in a forward gear, no matter which I select.

If I have to bite the bullet and replace the tranny, where's the best place to find one? Should I go with a new one or will a rebuilt work? Do I have to use the dealer for this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
