Lighting/electrical problems for sure! S60 2002

I have a 2002 S60 AWD with the 17" Thor wheels. I have had two tire blow outs and 3 bent rims (all WITH OUT) coming into contact (hitting) anything.

3 dealers have said my tires (Perelli's) are not strong enough for this wheel/tire combo and the weight of the car.

I called Volvo and they said there have been no reports of problems and said it wasn't "normal" to go through 4 sets of new tires in 20,000 miles that perhaps this is just a case of "bad tires..."

I have given up on calling Volvo, I can't get a smooth ride and have forked out a lot of cash on new tire sets.

I am looking at Bridgestones now... Any advice?
