Catalytic Replacement Cost

I have a 1993 850 GLT and my catalytic needs to be replaced (I won't pass smog next time around), but I haven't yet had to replace it (not until it completely fails).

My Indy in San Francisco quoted me around $700.00 plus. Since everything seems to be more expensive in this City, I would say your quote sounds about right.
