'01 V70 Turning Radius Problems -- decision time V70-XC70

It's the steering geometry and is s function of the way the car was designed. WHY it was designed that way is another story. I suspect it's a function of Ford's lawyers and an attmept to make the cars foolproof ... so you can't put it on it's roof, Explorer-style.

For comparison purposes, the V70 has an advertised turning circle of 39 feet while the X3's is 38.4 feet, the X5's is 39.7 feet, the Mercedes ML's is 39 and the Allroad Quattro's circle is 38.3 feet. If a 7 inch larger turning circle makes any difference, buy an X3!
