The car has a manual transmission. I'll check the build date tonight when I get home, to see if it's around the same time as yours, and post what I find.

My brother-in-law works on these cars (we actually got it from the dealership where he works at) and is coming up this weekend to look at her cruise control. I'm fairly certain that's the vac. hose and should be a fairly simple fix. Hopefully he'll have some suggestions about the latches, and may be able to hook me up with one of those sensors for the reverse lights. I think that we need those to pass inspection in Maine.
