I have roughly the same V-1 setup in 3 cars....

I have the main unit in the pocket of a "visor organizer" (available for about $8 at Target) mounted on the passenger-side visor with a hole cut in the leading edge for the laser antenna. I have the cord running down the inside of the "A" pillar behind the trim, (around the head airbag on the one car so equipped), under the glovebox and into the center console. On the Volvo I have the remote display plugged into the lighter socket in the console and the wire running into the shiftboot. On the other two cars I have the remote display incorporated into the console(s) and tap into the lighter socket wiring for power. The setup is virtually invisible in the Volvo and completely invisible in the other two cars.
