I thought the actual label "sportwagon" was only on teh tailgate of teh '94, and possibly some of the '95 855's. Does your V70 tailgate have this script? In general, I believe it is the fairly standard Volvo refererence to the 850 / V70 wagons, to accentuate the difference between the much more sedate 740/940 series wagons.
