Hey, before you chuck your radio, try this out. It will take 2 hours tops of your time ...

You can change the bulbs out with ones from Radio Shack for about $4.50 altogether. There were 5 in mine, and I changed them this week. Couldn't be happier.

If the rest of your radio functions properly and you can fix the lighting, it would make no sense to upgrade to another Volvo radio unless you got the thing for next to nothing.
