Air pump question V70-XC70 1998

Try removing the pump as per volvospeed info and running it. CEL sets if pump does not run but it may be caused by a freeze up. If the pump still runs, change the valve (SAS) and drill a 1/8 dia hole in the pump for a drain. Also check volvospeed board as there was an interesting discussion about installing an aftermarket pump that goes for $60 and fixes the problem.
