WHERE to drill a hole...... V70-XC70 1998

OK.........with all the water collection problems assiciated with the air-pump I want to do some "preventative" fixes so it last longer and one appears to be
drilling a 1/8 hole in the housing! Thats fine but "WHERE"? Drilling a hole into a "pressure pump" hosing sounds like a very BAD thing if its in the wrong spot. Any pictures or measurements that anybody can supply so I don;t "ruin" a presently working air-pump?
