bad transmission 850

At the risk of having several "oh, no she didn't!" directed my way, because I have noticed some proclaim undying love for their 1993's...I would steer clear of a 1993 850. Unless you can practically steal it, and you can verify that MUCH, and I mean MUCH has already been done, it would behoove you to think a little newer. Check records to verify if the evaporator, the AC control head, the climate control power stage, the fuel pump, the cam sensor, the crank sensor, the rear main seal, the timing belt (recent), the alternator, the compressor, the blower motor, the front struts, the rear shocks, the engine coolant temp sensor, the radiator, etc., etc., etc. have been done. All of this would have been needed by now. Further, if you do buy it, you want to get a 95, or 96 transmission. You will need the cooler lines, and on the 96, you will have to extend the wiring for the speed sensor. It's located in a different place.
