oil change interval S80

AJ,
I have a 2000 S80 T6 using Mobil 1 (I worked for Mobil for 29 years in the lubes business). I changed the oil at 7500 miles during the warrenty period. Now that I have 55,000 miles, I change oil and filter every 10,000 miles or about every 10 months at my current rate of about 1000 miles per month. My recommendation to you would be to change oil and filter at 7500 or 15 months at your current 500 miles per month rate.
