If what you meant SRS and not SRSS, then I had the same experience.
Mine lighted up when I aligned the steering wheel and had to remove the steering wheel on the process.
I went to a dealer and had the car checked. Initially they use a small hand held scanner, and the code could not be erased. Then they use a bigger scanner and finally the code can be erased.
