oil drip- front end

Thanks for the help--after reading your suggestions i looked again and it does seem to have alot of oil around the filler cap that may be running off the engine. Funny thing is--the sealing washer in the cap seems ok. Should i have this thing checked for excess crankcase pressure or just try a new seal ring? again- thank you. H (it is a 95 NA 850 with about 150k on it) My mechanic said the car doesnt have a flame trap--is that correct?
