You need the specific Volvo Service Light Reset tool for that. The standard OBD-II scan tool won't reset the Volvo Service light. Go over to Ebay and do a search for Volvo Service Reset Tool and you'll find them for about $65. Other than that you can get one from IPD for about $150?. If you do your own oil changes and stuff you might as well get one.
