loose bracket holding sun visor S70 1998

Is this the bracket that it snaps into? If you can't make the
bracket tighter how about making the pin part that snaps in to
it larger by wrapping some tape around it? Maybe some tape that
has a somewhat rough surface for a bit of friction.
