Window Guards 850 1996

I got the Volvo window deflectors and regretted it. They are affixed to the exterior metal frame with a silicon-based double-sided adhesive tape. Over time, they loosened at the ends so that they'd rattle while driving. I then decided to remove them, but the remaining adhesive was so strong that it pulled the paint off in spots. The adhesive was impervious to normal adhesive removers (like 3M release agent). Go with the westhertechs.
