V70 oil consumption V70-XC70 1998

I have a 98 V70 T5, 130K mi, and I too am burning about a qt per 1000 miles. Has been doing this since 120K. The only leak I have is a drip from the oil pan plug (saw the fix on Bay 13, just waiting until the next oil change to fix it). If you figure out your missing oil problem, please let me know.
