My 95 850 Turbo with 98k miles gets around 20mpg city; a bit more on the highway. I experimented driving sport vs. econ mode over several months and found there was no difference at all in the mpg. And what sense does it make to get a turbo car only to drive in econ mode? I paid all that extra money for the sportiness - there's no way I want to hold her back by driving in econ mode!
