Steering rack play... Adjustable?

Hi all....

I've just upgraded my S70 T5 struts to Bilsteins and the difference is phenomenal! Much smoother and more controlled than the old struts.
Only problem is that while I had the front end apart I found the left side inner rack balljoint has a lot of wear in it... I pulled the boot off and a whole lot of water came out (god only knows how it got there as there are no holes in the boots!) Anyone know if the ball joint is adjustable or am I facing a new rack....(ouch!).
