Headlight alignment ...

If you have a flat driveway or the side of a building in a flat parking lot:

Drive right up to the wall, turn your LOW beams on.
Tape a piece of paper to the wall for both headlights, left and right.
With a magic marker trace the cutoff beam across the paper.
Back up the car about 25 feet.
Adjust the headlights so that the cutoff beam is still in the original place on the piece of paper.
