Discovered the problem !!! RIP autobox 1. Forward gear has 'welded' it'self to the reverse gear, hence the low revs. It's trying to go forward and backwards at the same time. Managed to source a replacement from a w/o. I think I scored a goal £100. Just hope it works, as you may know, it's not the easiest job to change the box in an 850. More or less got the old one out. Torque converter bolts holding me back a little....... who's bright idea was that???
Anyway, back to the tools.
