rotten egg smell can mean bad catalytic converter. Might just be time for it or there might have been something in the gas. Switch gas stations and hope it goes away. I don't really think draining fuel will help, just run this tank down as low as you feel comfortable before filling.

If just the gas it should clear in 2 or 3 tanks. If catalytic converter damaged it needs replacing.
