C70 convertible question C70 1999

They normally just push back down after pressing its release bar, next to it.

IMHO, you will be a happier person if you do not ever own any C70 convertable as it's probably one of Volvos worst cars UNLESS you keep the top down at all times and only drive it on nice sunny days. That's also IF you don't mind its "cowl vibration" issue, common to all FWD convetables due to structural weakness and very annoying for an expensive car.
