Thanks for sympathizing. This wasn't even tire installation...it was just balancing (!!!)

There was no way those guys were going to offer new wheels, even through I informed them that I would never go there again.

I also called Tire Rack and informed them of my problems.

If anyone is interested, this was a Firestone outlet.
