PNP switch replacement 850 1996

I haven't done it, but I read that you could use the back up lights as your alignment tool.

Turn ignition switch to the on position without starting the car. Move the PNP switch until the back up lights go on, make a mark on the switch.

Move the switch again until the back up lights go off, make another mark on the switch.

The alignment of the switch should fall within those 2 marks you made.
