You are exactly right in your assumption;
I would very much like to control the changer with
the stock head unit. My research seems to indicate
that you are also right on the second issue;
no one seems to make a MD changer that will be
directly compatible with the stock (Alpine)
head unit. It appears that I will have to go
the CD changer route instead, unfortunately.
