If you opt for the 2.5T make sure you get the sport package. Besides the frills you will get speed sensitive steering. This will help to correct the Ford Taurus style of limited on center steering and lightness at speed. Even then I think the connection to the road is still a step away from the old 850/V70. Maybe the new R is better, I have yet to spend some time in one. At the R price I think there are better values out there.
