Ok guys, before I go to my local volvo dealer which has a reputation for raping people, I found this board and am hoping you can help. After purchasing my volvo, I put about 1500 miles on it and an emission repair light came on on the instrument cluster. I took it to a buddy and he got the read out and said it might have been the egr stuck open for just a second and that he would reset it and see if it came back on. The car does not ride rough at all and gas mileage has not been and issue since the emission repair light came on. I began to drive the car again after the reset and drove it about 3 miles. All was well, I made a brief stop in a store and came back out, turned on the car and now the spot on the instrument cluster where it shows "300 miles till empty tank" is no longer even lit up. Can someone tell me something about these occurances and advice on what to do? Thanks in advance!
