Another tech should be able fix your car S70 1998

Probably the upper strut support bushing. It's a very common repair on S/V70s on up. All that one needs to do to see it is remove the center nut and plate on the top of the strut, under hood with the car on the ground and look at the rubber support bushing. Chances are good that it's either badly cracked or separated.
