Wheel/tire combination 850 1994

If anyone out there is successfully running 15x7 aftermarket wheels on their 850, could you please let me know what the offset of those wheels is. The offset should be stamped on the inside of the wheel and marked 'Et'. The stock 15x6.5 wheel that came on my 850 is 'Et 43'. The reason I ask is that I purchased a set of 15x7 Borbet Type B wheels from a well known supplier and the offset is 35. I have a set of 205-60x15 tires on them and they clip the inside of the fender lip if the suspension gets bounced. Initially I thought the size of the tire was the problem, but the recommended tire is a 205-55x15, which while shorter, should be fatter, which would make it more likely to contact the fender. Now I'm wondering if the offset is incorrect. I would think that even with the additional half inch in width (7 vs 6.5) that the offset should still be the same (43) and with that 8mm difference, I don't think the tires would contact the inner lip of the fender.

Your thoughts and comments apprecitated as always.
