Idle control valve location ? 850 1994

Assuming the car won't idle but otherwise performs ok, it might be worth looking at throttle body bore, EGR air passage, flame trap (non-turbo), etc. for residues, blockage, or air leaks. The idle control could be ok or partly ok but trying to compensate for a fault elsewhere. Does the idle/stalling issue change when you use or turn off A/C or electrical loads?
