Control arm bushings????? V70-XC70 1998

Can the front control arm bushings be replaced "on the car"? Do they slip in and out like on the ole 740 bricks or are they pressed and you have to remove the entire arm? When do they usually go? Got 110k now and need to replace sway bar links and was thinking of these?
