Check Engine Light 850 1996

This might be a dumb question but did you reset the light? Does it cme back on? What diagnostic tool are you using because Volvo, BMW and a hand full of others use a different kind of reader. If you use a regular reader, you might not get all the error code showing. Go to Autozone, they have the correct reader and they can read and reset it free of charge.
