Modification advice -- Non Turbo 855 850

hi,
the non-turbo volvos can made to give good power - but not without spending a lot of money first and you really need to start with a bigger engine like a 2.5l (the 2l n/a engine is a waste of time).
even if you do basic mods such as a ecu upgrade,camshaft change and exhaust/intake mods etc.. you will still only gain a small amount of power where as the turbo engine makes far greater power out of the box and can be further modified to make whatever hp you want.
so i recomend either selling your car and buying a turbo OR look for a good second hand turbo engine and ecu that could be fitted to your car.
