The tranny fluid flush is a simple cheap procedure that every body should be doing it every 25k miles or 3 years.

You did a great job getting pink fluid back, no need to do it in 1000k miles. I would do the next change in 10K miles and then get on the 25K miles schedule and that tranny would just go and go and go...
