Too rich code, where to start? 850

Hi, I've had the check engine light reset 3 times and been told that "too rich" is the code. Can Someone give me an idea to tell them where to start looking. The overworked shop doesn't want to just start pulling and replacing stuff. (very nice) but I'd like some troubleshooting to happen. Thanks
