Shiftlock override 850 1994

The shiftlock over-ride disengages manually what an electrical solenoid and microswitch would do if they are working correctly. I have had to replace many microswitches to correct this problem.However to properly fault trace this you need to make sure that the brake light switch is providing voltage thru the microswitch to the release solenoid. The electrical portion of the ignition switch can also cause this problem,but is usually accompanied by other complaints like the abs light being illuminated.
