1996 ABS 850

Agreed, contact Victor Rocha at the link provided.

The 850 has a history of failing ABS controller modules after 85K. I had Victor do mine recently and the result was superb (so far). I believe that this may be a failure mode similar to the fuel pump relay failure in the 240 series several years ago - cracked solder joints on the circuit board. Heat and vibration do these components in. Getting the unit out and in using Victors instructions is easy enouth, but watch out for cracked wiring insulation on ht epower supply to the ABS motor.
