Sounds like the fuel pump. You can verify this by testing fuel pressure. Of course, be careful whenever you release pressurized fuel. To test for fuel pressure there is a shraeder type release valve under the aluminum fuel rail on the driver's side of the engine. In my case, it had a blue plastic cap screwed on. If you don't have any pressure, most likely the fuel pump is shot. I had a friend's go out around 95K and my brother's went out around 150K.
