And here I thought it was just me that had this problem.

My wife's car, a 2001 V70 2.4T (light pressure turbo) does the same thing. It seems like there is some kind of delay on the A/C system. Sometimes it can take a minute or two before we get cooling from the system. I think it must have something to do with the ECU for the auto climate control.
