You may want to check the prices for these parts from online firms. Look at the Boge and Bilstein. Bilstein has two versions. The less expensive offers a softer, more lie the original, ride. Volvo uses a lot of Boge for oem. Be sure they really are gone. A little weeping may not mean that they are gone. Do they allow the car to bounce when pushed up and down? A good independant shop can do the work at a pretty reasonable price. Good luck.
