Missing coolant, or did I screw up? 850 1997

I also just did a coolant flush and went through the same thought process. I was able to drain about a gallon from both the radiator and engine stopcocks. Just like Larry, I added a full gallon of undiluted antifreeze. After a drive, I needed to fill up with half a quart, and used water for that. In the end, this should result in a concentration of just above 50%.
