nothing special if you've ever replaced a cv boot. but, looking at 10 year old cv joints, i'd be inclined to put an axle in. much easier and far less messy. might be cheaper, too. put a new boot on it and the joint makes noise in a while, then you definitly get to buy an axle. rebuilts are about 100 or so. good luck, chuck.
