Runs fine, but runs rich

Thanks for the response. After posting my message, I replaced a couple of vacuum hoses (from the throttle to the canister, because they were bigger than should be - now they are snug. This weekend I might try replacing a section of the fuel line that is also a little larger than needed). I drove the car on the highway last night and a lot of fun factor there. I notice that the gas guage was not moving as fast as it did so maybe replacing a couple of loose hoes did the trick. I'd still like to make sure the I'm getting the most bang for the buck so I might just replace the Engine coolant temperature sensor. A couple of years ago the plastic raditor connector broke and the engine over heated so it may have been the begining of the end for this item.

Question: How difficult is it to replace the ECM (aka., ECT?)? Do I need to empty out the coolant before I begin? And just to make sure that I am looking at the correct item under the cylinder head, the ECM is the item that is far back - last component that has one white wire connecting? Also, when replacing a fuel line - from the tank to the pump, is there anyway to stop the fuel from flowing out of the tank?

Thanks
