I highly doubt that Volvo will ever bring back RWD being that IMHO, those in charge at Volvo have lost touch with the notion on "how to make a good car 101" as they once knew very well. They're too concerned with trying to add gadgetry competing with BMW, Audi and Lexus for the lease crowd, not making cars that people want to own for 20 years because it's just a great car (like the older RWDs).

If I wanted a new V8 RWD wagon, I'd buy a new Dodge Hemi Magnum. They're less expensive than a Volvo and can't be any worse than todays new Volvos (nor less safe).
