These were the only pads that wouldn't squeal for my 98 S70. I love them and wouldn't use anything else...btw, PBR deluxe pads didn't squeal but they also didn't work for a second or two every time I hit the brakes in the rain...I also used new brembo rotors when I replaced them with raybestos...never a squeal in 35K
