Don't support his crack habit or his boat payment, whichever applies in his case.

First, your car has no brake drums. It has disk brakes all around.

I did my own brakes for:
$25 new front pads
$30 new rear pads
$12 to have the rear rotors turned. If your fronts can't be turned, FCP has them for about $40 each side. Check their web site.
$5 new brake fluid.....flush your old stuff

Bought the Mintex pads from FCP Groton. Way less dust than stock pads with the same stopping power.

If you don't like doing brakes, find a buddy to do it for a case of beer.
