Greetings,
As others have mentioned, check out IPD's touch-up paint. Be sure to check the ID plate under the hood to match the color code-it sounds like red #601. If you're looking for a very close match from another manufacturer, I found Plasti-kote brand in VW red #3310 is a 98% match to the volvo red and is suitable for small scratches in inconspicuous areas.
